These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Eollinea's AI-driven precision irrigation and intelligent pest management platform, including our IoT sensors, edge computing infrastructure, solar-powered systems, and cloud-based services (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Services.
2. Service Description
Eollinea provides an AI-powered smart water management system that:
- Analyzes weather forecasts, soil moisture, water consumption patterns, and system performance in real-time
- Makes intelligent, automated decisions to optimize irrigation and prevent water waste
- Detects and responds to environmental conditions including heatwaves, rainfall, abnormal usage, and leaks
- Provides intelligent pest management through IoT sensors and edge computing
- Operates autonomously using solar-powered infrastructure
- Delivers insights and control through our cloud platform at cloud.eollinea.com
3. User Accounts and Registration
To access certain features of the Services, you must register for an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security breach
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Hardware and Installation
4.1 IoT Sensors and Equipment: Eollinea provides solar-powered IoT sensors and edge computing equipment for deployment on your property. You are responsible for:
- Providing suitable installation locations with adequate sunlight for solar panels
- Maintaining physical security of installed equipment
- Reporting damage, theft, or malfunction promptly
- Allowing authorized Eollinea personnel access for maintenance and upgrades
4.2 Ownership: All hardware remains the property of Eollinea unless otherwise specified in a purchase agreement. Equipment must be returned upon termination of service.
5. Data Collection and Usage
Our Services collect and analyze data including:
- Soil moisture levels, temperature, and environmental conditions
- Water consumption and irrigation patterns
- Pest activity and crop health indicators
- Weather data and forecasts
- System performance and operational metrics

6. Automated Decision-Making
Our AI system makes autonomous decisions regarding irrigation scheduling, water flow adjustments, and pest management responses. While our system is designed to optimize performance:
- You retain ultimate control and can override automated decisions through the cloud platform
- You are responsible for monitoring system performance and crop health
- Eollinea is not liable for crop loss, water damage, or other consequences of automated decisions made in good faith based on available data
- You should implement appropriate backup systems and manual controls as needed
7. Service Availability and Maintenance
7.1 Uptime: We strive to maintain 99.5% uptime for our cloud services, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service due to:
- Scheduled maintenance and updates
- Network connectivity issues
- Force majeure events (extreme weather, natural disasters, etc.)
- Hardware failures or solar power limitations
7.2 Local Operation: Our edge computing infrastructure is designed to continue basic operations even during cloud connectivity loss, but advanced AI features may be limited.
8. Fees and Payment
Service fees are based on your selected plan and may include:
- Monthly or annual subscription fees
- Hardware installation and equipment fees
- Additional charges for premium features or expanded coverage
Payment terms are specified in your service agreement. Late payments may result in service suspension.
9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, algorithms, AI models, hardware designs, and documentation, remain the exclusive property of Eollinea. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Eollinea shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
- We are not responsible for crop failures, water damage, or pest-related losses
- You are responsible for maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for your operations
11. Termination
Either party may terminate the service agreement with 30 days written notice. Upon termination:
- You must return all Eollinea hardware in good condition
- Access to the cloud platform will be revoked
- Your data will be available for download for 90 days
- Any outstanding fees must be paid in full
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Algeria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Algeria.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the cloud platform. Continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
